AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, June 28. Barley.—-Chevalier malting, 5s 9d to 6s; Cape, 49 3d to 4s 4d. Oats.—Algerian, milling 4s Id to 4$ 2il; feed 2s 9d to 3s lOd. Potatoes, £3 10s to £4. Onions, £l4 10s to £ls. ADDINGTON. At Addington market there was a large entry of fat sheep, and modium entries m other departments. There was a weaker demand for store sheep, and as the sheep suffered in appearance through the wet weather of the previous few days the prices were easier. Fat lambs barely maintained last week's lower rates, the competition from exporters lacking the keenness of late. Fat sheep opened easier, and firmed as the sale progressed, but prices all through were lower than last week. Fat cattle showed an advance, the Export buyers operating more freely. There was a very fair demand for store cattle, but the quality was only moderate. Dairy cows again sold well, as did pigs of all classes. Store Sheep—Four and six-tooth ewes 25s 7d to 32s 4d, six and eight-tooth ewes 17s to 26$ 6d, two and four-tooth wethers 28s 4d to 30s 3d, four and six-tooth wethers to 34s 9d, i four and six-tooth merino wethers 22s Id to 245, ewe hoggets 18s 9d to 22s lOd, mixed sex hoggets 17s 9d to 22s 6d, wether hoggets 10s to 21s 3d. Fat lambs—Extra prime 34s lid, prime 28s Gd to 335, medium 25s to 28s, lighter 20s to 24s 6d. Fat Sheep—Eitra prime wethers to 47s 7d, prime wethers 40s to 45s 7d, medium 34s Gd to 39s 6d, lighter wethers 29s 6d to 355, extra prime ewes to 455, prime ewes 37s Gd to 44s Id, medium 32s Gd to 375, lighter 20s 3d to 325. Fat Cattle—Extra prime steers to £22 ss, prime Bteers £l7 r»s to £2O 15s, ordinary steers £ll 10s to £l7, prime heifers to £l7 59, ordinary heifers £9 to £l4 ss, prime cows to £lB 17s 6d, ordinary cows £9 to £l4. Store Cattle—Yearling3 £4 7s, two-and-a-half to three-year steers £9 15s to £l2 17s 6d, three-year heifers £8 18s to £9 10s, ordinary cows £5 12s to £7, dry cows £7 to £l9 10s. Pigs—Choppers £4 10s to £B, extra heavy baconers £6 15s, heavy baconers £5 10s to £6 4s, lighter baconers £4 10s to £5 5s (equal to Sftd per lb), heavy porker 3 60s to 70s, lighter porkers 50s to 57s 6d (equal to 9d to 9%d per lb). BURNSIDE. At Burnslde 22G fat cattle were yarded, a good proportion being prime ox. Considering the large entry prices were well maintained, being just on a par with last week's values. Prices were above exporters' limits. Extra prime heavv bullocks £24. heavy £l9 to £2l 10s, medium £l7 to £l9, others £ls upwards, best cows and heifers £l7 7s 6d, heavy £l3 10s to £ls, medium £ll 10s to £l2 10s, others £lO 10s upwards. gh ee p.—2649 were penned. The quality was fair to medium. Prime heavy wethers were scarce. The best heavy sheep realised late rates, but the others were easier. Extra prime heavv wethers 65s 9d. heavy 45s Gd to 49s 6d, medium 37s to 425, light and unfinished 30s upwards, extra heavy ewes Cls, heavy 38a to 465, medium 30s to 37s Gd, others 25s upwards. Lambs —1038 were penned. Prices were on a par' with late rates. Best freezing 10s, extra 325, medium 25s Gd to 28s 6d. VISIBLE WHEAT SUPPLY. Chicago, June 2G. The Visible supply of wheat is 2,247,000 bushels.
