ON THE SEA.
SINKING OF THE POMERANIAN GERMANS SEIZE WIRELESS OPERATOR. Received June 28, 6.5 p.m. New York, June 27. The New York Times says t'he Pomeranian was sunk in shallow water. Only the engineer was saved. When the Medora was sunk, the captain of the U-boat took the wireless operator aboard the submarine. The crew stated that German torpedoes were less forceful than formerly, owing to lack of explosives.—Press Assoc.
