A number of local sheepowners have telegraphed to the Minister for Agriculture, speaking for themselves and others absent with the f orcos, stating that they are strongly of opinion that the Government proposals regarding the purr cha9e of wool should be accepted without quihblmg, The Wellington Provincial Farmers' Union executive held a meeting here today, and passed a resolution that the executive aipproves of the action of the Government in continuing the arrangement for the purchase of wool by the Imperial Government, and urges that the valuers be again asked to give more care 1 regarding the value placed on inferior and seedy wools. ! . ■ —, ' i I
