i '& report that during the Pahnerstoa. Show large numbers- of farmers inspeeted the two bulls catalogued by J. C. Wright, of Matapu, for the breeders' consignment sale. The bulls are by Acorn of Oakdale, their dams being Honeycomb and Sweet Garnet. last year this breeder topped the market with a 17-montha bull at 135gns, and considerable speculation was indulged in fey all and sundry as to what price a full brother would make this year. The animal was in the pink of condition, and was a splendidly grown bull for fourteen months. After spirited bidding, he fell to the bid of Mr W, Gadeby, of Te Kuiti, at 205gns, amidst applause from the large audience. This is the third occasion on which Mr Wright has in succession topped the market, each with a Honeycombired animal. A 20-month» naif -brother sold at 121gns.
