Mr. W. R. Miliar waa a passenger last night by the Rarawa for Auckland* where he is spending a few days. Mr. Paul WilleoX, of Rahotu, who ie«. cently returned from a trip to England, left last night by the Raonm in Aiaokland, en route- lor Canada and EnglandIt is his intention to return to Ntff Zealand, at the conclusion of the-war. The name of B, Jones (K&imsta) appears in the latest hospital report, amoagi those still seriously ill, but improving. lieutenant Hanoid Wilkinson, MXl*, C.G. At Monday's meeting of the Stratford Borough Council, the Mayor stated that since the last meeting one of th*. council employees had been ikxQed in action, Private H. Witt.
