Steers sold at from £9 7s 6d to £2O 12s 6d; cows and heifers from £0 17s 0d to £l3 17s 6d. Calves were penned in large numbers and for quality late prices were maintained. Runners sold at from £5 10s to £8 2s 6d; heavy vealers, £3 15s to £5; medium, £2 16s to £3 12s Od; light, £1 17s to £2 15s; small and fresh-dropped, 3s to £1 15s. Ptgs were penned in large numbers and sold firm at late improved values. Choppers and heavy baconers, £5 to £8 7s; others, £3 16s to £4 18s; large porkers, £3 to £3 15s; medium, £2 12s to £2 19s; small, £1 12s to £2 10s; slips, £1 Is to £1 8s; weaners, to 15s. Sheep were panned in average numbers, and sold well up to late values.
