BURN SIDE. Prima-heavy bullocks, £2l to £24 ss; prime, £l7 10s to £2O; medium, £l4 10s to £10; prime cows and heifers, £l7; others, £ll 10s to £l4. The sheep penned numbered 2355, about one-third being prime heavy wethers and ewes, prlce3 for which advanced 2s to 2s Gd per head. Medium advanced Is Gd a head. Prime heavy wethers, 51s to 57s 3d: a few show Bheep,- 80s; prime wethers, 45s to 50s; medium, 36s to 425; prime heavy ewes, 42s to 48s; extra, 50s Sd; prime, 35s to 40a; others, 28s to 325. There were 1085 lambs penned. The quality was fair, and competition was keen at late rates. Of pigs there was a moderate yarding, and they realised late rates.. ADDINGTON. At Addlngton yards there were large entries of fat .cattle and fat sheep, and fair yardlngs la other departments. The attendance was good. The store sheep were a moderate lot, but met with a very fair sale. There were some very prime lots of lambs on offer, but the competition was not so keen, and pricos were easier by Is to Is Gd per head. Fat sheep were very firm, export buyers operating freely In view of tlio probable closing of the freezing works at the end of the month. Fat cattle met with a good sale at late rates. Young store cattle met with a good Inquiry and dairy cows sold well. Pigs were somewhat easier. Store sheep—Two and four-tooth ewes to 31s 9d; 4 and 6-tooth ewes, to 28s 8d; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 24s to 30s; 4 and 6-tooth wethers, 22s 9d to 2Ss 3d; ewe hoggets, 19s 4d to 27s 7d; mixed sex hoggets, 17s 3d to 23s 7d; wether hoggets, lis 7d to 21s Id. Fat lambs—Extra prime, 37s Gd; prime, 20s to 33s Gd; medium, 26s to 28s 6d; lighter, 20s 3d to 25s Gd. Fat Sheep,—Extra prime wethers to 57s 6d; prime wethers, 41s to 46s Id; medium wethers, 36s Cd to 40s Gd; lighter wethers. 30s 6d to 38s Id; merino wethers, 21s 3d to 28s 9d; prime eives, 38s Gd to 40s 2d; medium ewes, 33s 6d to 3Ss; lighter ewes, 24s lOd to 335; merino eives, 22s fld to 395. Fat Cattle. —Extra prime steers, to £22 17s Gil; prime steers, £l7 to £2O 10s; ordinary sleers, £l3 17s Gd to £l6 10s; prime heifers, to £l6 17s Gd; ordinary heifers, £8 7s Gd to £l4 10s; prime cows, to £l7 10s; ordinary cows £9 to £l3 15s.
