GENERAL RATES-1918-1919. pUBLIC Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Rating Act, 1908" and the amendments thereto, and "The Counties Act, 1908, 14 and the amendments thereto, it is the intention of the council of the County of Egmont at the ordinary monthly meeting to be held at the Council Chambers, Opunake, on Tuesday, the 9th day of July, 1918, to make and levy the following general rates on the capital value of all rateable property within the respective Ridings of the County, for tile period of twelve months, from the first day of April, 1918, to the thirty-firßt day of March, 1919, namely: OEO RIDING (outlying district): One penny and three farthings in the £. OPUA RIDING: One penny and one farthing in the £. OPUNAKE RIDING: One penny and one farthing in the £. RAHOTU RIDING: One penny and one farthing in the £.
