Subject to necessary alterations, mails will close at the chief post office, New Plymouth, as under: For Auckland and North, daily per train at 6.15 a.m. For Auckland and North, per steamer, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m. For Napier and Gisborne, daily at 6.15 a.m. For Wellington and South, daily at 6.15 a.m. For Wanganul and intermediate offices,, daily at 6.15 a.m., 11 a.m. adn 3 p.m. For Opunake and intermediate offices, per motor bus, dally at 6.15 a.m. THURSDAY, JUNE 20. For Fiji, at 6.15 a.m. SATtJBDAY, JTJNK 22. For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, India, China and Straits Settlements, via Auckland, at 6.15 a.m. (Money orders close 4 p.m. on Friday, 21st instant). TUESDAY, JUNE 25. For Rarotonga and Tahiti, via Wellington, at 6.15 am. For Expeditionary Forces, at 6.15 a.m. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26. For United Kingdom, Europe, North and South America, Egypt, Fiji, Fanning Island, Honolulu, and Japan (per s.s. Niagara, from Auckland), at 6.15 a.m. Money orders close 4 p.m. Monday, 24th Inst.
