On Tuesday, 11th inat., we held our usual fortnightly sale in our Stratford yards. Bidding was satisfactory throughout and we cleared nearly everything at the hammer or, immediately afterwards, at full recent values. ' Store cows £4 .17a up to £7, and £lO 10s for fresh conditioned and forward eows; mixed weaners 32s <ld; weaner heifers 117s <sd to 465; 20-months incalf heifers, well-grown, £8 ss, £S 15s; 4 and 6-tooth wethers 30s; 6-tooth and 8-tooth wethers 30s, 235; cull lambs 7s fid. Our next sale in these yards will be held on 25th inst. On Friday, 14th inst, ,we held our usual monthly sale in our To Werti yards. The advertised stock came forward Steers received little attention and mostly returned unsold. Mr. OTJeill's herd of dairy cows met with good competition at satisfactory.'values. 2-year steers £7 2s £9; springing heifers £8 10s; store cows £5 17s fid; 4 and 6-year ewes in lamb, 23s fid. Also a dairy herd on account -of Michael OTtfeill, Ksq,, averaged £ll 4a per head, prices ranging from £9 for backward cows up to £'l4 and £ls for nice cows, Most of the cows wero rather low in condition. Our next sale in these yards will be held on 12th July. Private Sales.—The past fortnight his been quiet at recent ruling values. Lambs 12a, 18s Od, 13s and 14s; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 275, 28s"3d;. 4 and 5year ewes, in lamib, 225, 22s Cd, 245 : fat we&ers 82a Cd; springing heifers £8 16s, £lO, £lO 16s; yearling heifers £4, store cows £6 16s.
