WINTER SHOW.

QBJLDBEN'S DAY. Though unfavorable weather prevailed for Children's Day at the Winter Show yesterday, there was almost a record attendance of youngsters, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. In the evening there was a very large attendance of adults, visitors appreciating the extra passage room made. The Citizens' Band, under Bandmaster M'Leod, rendered a capital musical programme. The following are the additional resuite:— CHILDREN'S PETS. CADS (Children's Clasees). Best self-calor: C. Johnson. Best tabby: Clayton Lister. Any other variety: T, Lind 1, C. JohUi son 2, A- A. Reed 3. Miscellaneous pets: L. Knight l,Owea Knight 2, S. Lealand 3. CAT CLASSES FOB ADULTS. Persian: Male, A- P. Lister 1, Mrs. Ho eh 2, Mrs. J. Loveil 3; female, Mrs. Roch 1, A. P. Lister 2, Mrs. E. G. Johnson 3. Persian kittten: Mrs. Roch 1. POULTRY SECTION. In the class for layers, any pure breedj judged for egg production only; any variety heavy breed, hen, the prizes were won as follow:—May's Devon Poultry. Farm 1, W. Scott 2, Mrs E. G. Johnson 3. FINAL DAY-TO-DAY. The Show will bo open all day to-day, when it is expected that there will be large attendances. This afternoon there will be a sale of poultry. The Citizens' Band will be in iuttendaneo this evening. Various art unions and competitions will otao be decided to-night.
