President Wilson lias addressed a message to the Federation of Laibor thank'' ing the workers for their co-operation, and adding: "111-considered and unjustified interruption of essential laibor at this stage would make it impossible to ■win the war. We are facing the crucial months of the struggle, when Labor's undivided effort will he indispensable." A Bolshevist mass meeting at Madison Square Gardens passed a resolution urging tie United States to recognise the Soviet Government. Washington corrwpondettta state that the Government is JWt convinced of the desirability of intervening in Russia.—Press Assoc--IHLEEARY SERVICE TREATY. Washington, June 12. The State Department announces that a British-American reciprocal military service treaty has been signed, subject to ratification by the Senate. It is not stated how the treaty will affect Irishmen in the United States. —Press Association.
