ROVERS V. HIGH SCHOOL. The following team will represent the Rovers against the High School In the Recreation Grounds at 2.30 p.m. sharp on Thursday: Forwards: Wylie, Ward, Hurley, D. Hughes, Hurlestone, Sims, Dean, McLean. Backs: Prior, L. Hughes, Singh, Scrivener, Cock, Hooker, Penniall. Emergencies: C. Hughes and Stohr. Players are requested to be on the ground half an hour before the match. STRATFORD B v. HIGH SCHOOL B. Owing to Technical College having winter holidays, Stratford A are minus a match this week. The B team visits New Plymouth on Thursday, when it meets the High School B team. Stratford will be represented by the following team: Davies, Dudding, Grant, Hall, Beore, Clifton, Grubb, Collins (2), Walsh, Anderson, Henry, Berg, McCullough; emergencies: Dempster and Ktvell. On paper this looks a solid proposition for the school scholars to propound, and spectators should enjoy watching the task. Owing to the holidays, the match between the New Plymouth Technical School and: Stratford. has been postponed.
