Received June 9, 11.30 p.m. Copenhagen June. 8, The Vorwaertz publishes the Russian Government's proclamation admitting that the food situation is desperate, and accusing the counter-revolutionaries of disorganising the distribution. The Government threatens to imprison people retaining grain. They are also arranging to send searchers throughout the country for discovering concealed stocks of food.—United Service. GENERALS STARVING. 'HRUSILGtFF WOUNDED AND IN rOVERT?. Received June 9, 11.30 p.m. Paris, June S. Hundreds of Russian officers have been reduced to starvation. Some are selling newspapers and mfitcfc.es in the streets. German papers stats that General Brusiloff was recently wounded in the leg at Moscow while lighting with the Bolsheviks. He is living on charity, being in great poverty. His leg was amputated.—United Berries.
