Miss Brewster returned from Auckland on Friday morning. Mrs. Hempton, who has been residing in Auckland for some months, has now returned. Mra. J. W. Wilson is visiting Auckland. The Misses Humphries, who have been visiting Stratford and H&wera, have returned to New Plymouth Mrs. Gordon Fraser has returned from a short visit to Auckland, The Misses Shnttleworth, who have been on a visit to New Plymouth, returned to Auckland last week. Miss Keltha Wright, who has been the guest of Miss Rawson, has returned to Wanganul. Mn. Rotr (Napier) Is visiting New Plymouth. The Misses Woods, of Waverley, are spending a few days In New Plymouth. Mrs. Grey (Eltham) Is visiting New Plymouth. MiS3 Wynn Bayly, of Okorolre, Is the guest of Mrs. Allan Kennell. Miss Barnlcoat, of Wellington, Is the guest of her niece, Mrs. Dents Hursthouse. Mrs. Frank Mackay, of Stratford, is visiting New Plymouth. Mrs. W. Freeth, of Pukearuhe, who has been spending a few days in New Plymouth, left this week en route for Auckland. Mrs Jack Morton, who lias been staying with her mother, Mrs. W. D. Webster, left on Monday for Eltham, where she intends spending a few days before returning to her home in Christchurch. Mrs. Klrkby returns to New Plymouth tonight. Mrs. Coulson (Wellington) Is visiting New Plymouth. : Mrs. Truby King (Stratford) Is the guest of Iher mother (Mrs. Kyngdon). Mrs. Brewster is the guest of Mrs. Leslie Macey, at Bemuera. PLUNKET SALE OF WOAK On the 27th of this month the Plunket Committee Is arranging a sale of work to be held in the Good Templar Hall. Tho funds are to be devoted to furnishing rooms for the coming nurse. The great attraction of the afternoon will be a "baby" stall and a "doll" stall, where one can buy a doll of any shape or size. Great excitement is already noticed amongst the kiddies, who are keenly Interested in the competition for the best-dressed "boy" and "girl" dolls, there being a prize of £1 for the winner of each. PATRIOTIC WORK.
