THE SILK SCANDALS. A MILLIONAIRE'S SUICIDE. Received June (i, 52.45 p.m. Rome, June 5. Giuseppi Feltrinelli, a banker, brother of Carlo Feltrinelli, committed suicide. His fortune is estimated at ten million sterling Carlo Feltrinelli was arrested on March 2 in connection with the contraband silk scandal, wherein wealthy Italians were concerned in a scheme for selling goods to Switzerland destined for the enemy.—Press Assoc. ENEMY AEROPLANES DESTROYED. London, June 4. A British-Italian official message states: Since May 25 we destroyed 14 enemy aeroplanes.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reuter.
