EXTRAORDINARILY MODERATE PROPOSAL. Received June 6, 7.30 p.m. London, June 5. The Irish Times declares that Lord French's proposal is extraordinarily moderate. Ireland could recruit 100,000 without impoverishing any essential industry, and could raise 60,000 in a month if the Nationalises and bishops assist.—United Service.
