ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
KILLED BY EXPLOSION OF CARTRIDGE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 4. Jesse Valley, a single man, aged 28, was game shooting with the two Langutli brothers, when one of the latter fell, causing a cartridge to explode, and the shot badly •fractured Valley's right leg. He was admitted to hospital, and died three hours later. He was in both naval landings at Gallipoli, and was wounded at the second landing.
