By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 4. The storm area passed in the south on Saturday and Sunday, with strong southerly winds. Anti-cyclonic conditions have succeeded, with cool and ehangeaMe conditions, but a disturbance is now in evidence north-east of New Zealand- ' Present indications are for high and aouth -easterly winds northwards of Pa rewell Spit and Kaikoura, and southerly breezes elsewhere. Squally and showery conditions may he expected in the north and east coast districts of tihe North Island, and cold and changeable conditions elsewhere. The barometer has a falling tendency in the north. Little movement is probable elsewhere.
