London, June 2. A French official message states: An alarm was given at 12.8 in the morning of June 2. Several groups of enemy aeroplanes succeeded in reaching the Paris region. They met with a lively cannonade from our batteries. Several bombs were dropped, and it is reported that a number of people were injured. The all-clear signal was given at 2.G a.m. EFFECTIVE WORK ON ITALIAN FRONT. London, June 2. Italian semi-ofiicial: During May the Italians brought down 54 aeroplanes'und the British brought down 84.
