APPEALS FOR TEACHERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, At the Military Service Board, the Education Department appealed for the exemption of a number of teachers and officials. It was stated that the department's stall' was seriously depleted, and that there was no means of providing substitute teachers. The cases were adjourned sine die. Other officials were referred to the (Public Service Commissioner.
