SHORTNESS OF LEAVE DEPRECATED. Auckland, Last Night. At a tend-off to the Main Mody men, returned on duty furlough, a resolution was passed deprecating the calling of bocli men back to service after only three weeks' leave in Xcw Zealand. It was contended that fchey should be given at least three months in New Zealand to recuperate after nearly four years of service. The resolution was intended to apply to members of the Main Body and Reinforcements up to the Fifth.
