Subject to necessary Alterations, mails will close at the chief post office, New Plymouth, as under: For AuckUnd and North, daily per train at 6 15 a.m. For Auckland and North, per steamer, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 pm. For Napier and Gisborne, dally at 6.15 a.m. Ft Wellington find South, daily at <5.15 a.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, dally at 6.13 i\ m , U it m. and 3 pm. For Opunake and intermediate offices, per motor bus, daily at C.15 a.m. FRIDAY, MAY 31.
