Class IL —Championship Short Head and Yarding Competition. About 400 yards. Head, bring back, drive through one set of hurdles, drive to yard, and yard. Time, 15 minutes. Prizes: First, Championship Silver Cup, valued £lO 10s (presented by Farmers' Co-op. Organisation) and £5, and also a sweepstake of 50 per cent of the entry fees; second, 25 per cent, of the entry fees; third, 12J per ®nt. of the entry feesClass HE.—Championship Hmitaway, About 4-10 yards, through three sets of flags. McLean, Esq., Challenge Cup Silver Bowl for competitor scoring most points in Classes I and H, for two years in succession, or three years at different periods. 2. James Lillico, Esq., Shield, value r £ls 15s, for dog showing best style at ring and yard in Classes I and IT, for two years in succession, or three years at different periods.
3. Rutherford's Memorial Shield (value £2O), for dog or dogs scoring most points in one Heading event and Huntaway; should competitor have more than one dog competing in either of the events, then he must nominate his dog or dogs before starting. To be won three times before it can become the property of any competitor. Mr. P. Sheahan, Ohangai, Gold Medal (value £2 2s), for Maiden Man and Dog scoring most points in Long Head. Mr. J. Harrington, Hawera, Gold Medal (value £2 2s), for Drover scoring most points in Long Head. Mrs. Cramp, Hawera, Gold Medal (value £2 2s), for Maiden Man and Dog scoring most points in Huntaway. Admission to Ground, 1/-; Ladies, free. LUNCHEON will be supplied oil the ground by Red Cross Ladies. ENTRY FEE. — £1 for each dog in each event.
