Schedule of the Education Act, 11)14, Clause 9, the Board in pursuance of the powers thereof, heroin' directs tiiat a PUBLIC MEETING OF HKtoSBHOLDEBS bo held ON MONDAY, June 24Ui, 1918, at Half-past Seven o'clock in the evening, for the Election of a School Committee for each District thai failed to elect a Committee upon the Annual Day of ■Meeting previously appointed. Where the Yearly Average Attendance at the School or Schools in the School District for the year ending 1 December 31st, IUI7, lias not exceeded One Hundred children, the number of Members of the School Committee shall be FIVE; where such attendance is over Ono Hundred and not over TVo Hundred, tho number of Members shall be SEVEN; and where sueh attendance is over Two Hundred, the number of Members shall be NINE, The Place of Meeting shall be the School in each District, and this is understood to mean the Main School in any District which has more than one School. The Board further directs that the First Meeting of each School Committee be held in the place appointed for the Election and immediately after the Election. The Board further calls upon the Householders in each District to SEND IN to the Chairman of the School Committee (or the Commissioner, as the case may be), in writing, on or before MONDAY, tlio 17th June, not later lhan S pjn., the NAMES OF PERSONS, being resident householders, NOMINATED by them to serve upon the Committee. Sueh nominations must be signed by the Proposer and by tha Candidate, and must be in the form set forth in the Third Schedule to the Act, or to the effect thereof. In addition to such nominations, tuny householder present at a Meeting in a KUKAL AREA may nominate any qualified Candidate who consents by word of mouth or in writing to be so nominated. P. S.
