WAIRARAPA FARM SCHOOL. J At the last meeting of the Board of Agriculture, a proposal from the Wairarapa district to establish a farm where returned soldiers might receive some training in farming matters, which had been referred to the board for report, was very carefully considered. The farm in question, which had already been secured, had cost nearly £20,000, and was suitable for stud, sheep, and agricultural farming. The Wairarapa people themselves were giving the farm, which contains 736 acres of land, as well as tlia stock, and they wished the Government to assist in providing the cost of buildings, equipment, and maintenance.
