SKDinON PBISOtNIEBS RELEASED. By Telegraph.— ftess Association. Ohristchtrrch, May 2!7. ' E. Langley, J. Mood, and H. Hunter, who were imprisoned in connection 'frith the sedition charges, -were released today as the result of a Cabinet decision. Prior to their release, each of the men had to find two sureties of £6O, approve ed by the Government, tirat they wonrld be of good behaviour for twelve monthsand abstain from seditious acts and at-1 terances. WOMEN HTSAT.TH PATROLS. Dunedin, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Society for the Protection of Women and CMV dren, a motion was carried urging the; Hon. G. W. Russell, in the interests of womanhood, to exercise his powers tinder the Social Hygiene Act by appointing' women health patrols. THE SHAKE MARKET. Bunedin, Last Night. Sales were reported to-day of National Insurance at 58s 9d and Huddart Barker preference at 21s ljd. HASTINGS SOLICITOR CHARGED. Hastings, May 27. At the Magistrate's' Court this morning, Norton Thompson, solicitor, of Hastings, was remanded for a week on a charge of misappropriating £530, the property of Gotfriet Albert Petrowski, about July 29, 1916. Bail was allowed, self in £4OO and two sureties of £2OO each.
