The Fitzroy ladies are kindly helping with "Soldiers' Day" on Saturday next, and will be in charge of the shop counter. There will be lucky packets for sale, also an odds and ends china stalL Any one having a "white elephant" in their houses or on their shelves will know that it may be put to good use for our soldiers if they send it to the Patriotic rooms this week for "Soldiers' Day." The Mayoress asks every one to make a paper flower for Saturday next. The exhibits will be judged and prizes given for the best single flower and best spray, The winning number for a slb box ol tea donated by Mr. Goldwater will be found in one of the lucky shilling parcels to be sold on "Soldiers' Day."
