HAWERA WINTER SHOW.
The great show will commence on July •2. The committee have taken a great deal of trouble in revising and enlarging the schedule. 'A largo number of valuable trophies have been added in various sections. In the field roots, for instance, a handsome silver challenge cup, donated by Mr. Newton King, has been allotted to the exhibitor scoring most points ia field roots. In addition to this, a halfton of chemical manure, given by T, Borthwiok and Sons, goes to the farmer securing most points in this section. For a points' prize in graded vegetables, Mr. P. Gillanders gives a special of £1 Is, and Messsrs G. Syme and Co. * wheelborrow for the best display of vegetables. All sections are alike liberally treated. Exhibitors are reminded that general entries close on Saturday, June 15, with the seeretaiy (Mr. L. O. Booker), at the office, Hawera, P.O. box 73, and that from him all particulars required may be secured.
