The Duke of Connaught, accompanied by Lieutenant-General Sir William ■Pulteney, Earl Pembroke, and Mr. C H. Montgomery and party, have left for Washington to visit President Wilson The Duke of Connaught, when interviewed, said the American troops were taking a magnificent part in the great battle on the Western front.—Press Association. YACHT SUNK IN COLLISION. Received May 26, 5.5 p.m New Yoric, May 23. The Navy Department has announced that the converted yacht Yakiva was sunk in a collision in European waters, two men being drowned. —Press Assoc.
