STRAINED RELATIONS. BETWEEN NATIONALISTS AND SINN FEINERS. London, May 22. The Times' Dublin correspondent says that Monday's Mansion House meeting disclosed strained relations between the Nationalists and Sinn Feiners, almost reaching breaking point. The publication of proof that Sinn Fein intrigued with Germany would have an immediate beneficial effect on Nationalist opinion throughout Ireland. POSITION STILL OBSCURE. MR. DILLON HOLDS HIS HAND. London, May 22. The Irish situation is still obscure, pending the introduction of the Govern* ment'a evidence of a pro-German plot. Satisfactory evidence would be likely to detach the majority of the Nationalists from the Sinn Feiners. Mr. Dillon declares that the Government's action is unprecedented. He awaits a statement of the grounds for this action. Until then he has no opinion to offer on the matter. It is understood that the Nationalist members of the House Of Commons intend to return to Westminster next week.—Au». N.Z. Cable Asaoe.
