AMERICAN ORGANISATION. OVERCOMING TRANSPORT PROBLEM New York, May 21. Mr. Daniels, Secretary to the Navy, in a speech, said: "Before another summer has passed we shall have ships enough to carry millions of troops to France, and enough destroyers to safely convoy them. "Germany made the recent drive because the Kaiser realises that when America gets ships enough to carry men the end will come. "America realises that never again must her commerce be carried in foreign bottoms. A victory we will win, evenif the war lasts till we call out all our men from 18 to 60 years of age.."—Aus. N.Z. General Crowdar, Director of Recruiting, estimates that 750,000 men will automatically be added to the army iu June by yowihs attaining their majority. STRAIGHT TALK TO HOLLAND. New York, May 21. The Government has refused Holland's request to release three requisitioned Dutch ships for carrying grain to Holland.
