42nd REINFORCEMENTS.

NEW PLYMOUTH DRAFT FAREWELLED. Despite the unfavorable weather, there was a representative attendance of the public at the railway station yesterday morning to witness the departure of Kew Plymouth's quota of the 42nd Reinforcements. Before entraining, the men were inarched to the rooms of the Women's Patriotic Committee, where each was given a cup of tea and the customary housewife. The Mayor and several (nembers of the Patriotic Committee were present, anil brief speeches were made by the Mayor and Archdeacon K\ar.s before the men left the room.
