NEARING A MILLION. By Telegraph.—'Press Association Wellington, May 21. '(ho war pensions total is fast approaching the one million mark. Up till March 31 the number of pensions granted to soldiers and their dependents was IMT7, and the total annual value of the pensions i-'&fM.SSS. The average rate of pension was £O2 per annum.
