At the Waiwakaiho links on Saturday the first match for the &t. Andrew's Cross was played in beautiful golfing/ weather. Following are the six best scores put in:—

SEASON., (From Qur Own Correspondent.')' The Golf Club opened the season in beautiful weather on Thursday afternoon. . The president (Mr. J. E. Stanford), in a neat little speech, declared the links open, and trusted all would enjoy a pleasant season. A pairs competition was then decided, the best cards Iteing gent in being:— Mr. and Mrs, D.
