OSTEND AND ZEEBRUGGE. AIRMEN GIVE THEM JilO REST. lUeetved May 14,11.13 pjn. London, May 14. The Admiralty reports that between the 6th and 11th May aircraft from Dunkirk successfully bombed the docks and seaplane base at Ostend, also the Zee-brugge mole, lock-gates, and shipping. Several direct hits were secured on shodg and om Zee&rsgge molt. A large shed at Ostend was completely burnedWa destroyed six machines and drove two others down during the patrol. One British machine is missing. A seaplane on Friday, over the North Sea, engaged a Zeppelin, which retreated after half an hour. Sir Douglas Haig's aviation report states that flying was impossible on Sunday until the evening, when visibility was excellent- We dropped eight tons In the neighborhood of Menin, Armentieres, and La Bttssee, also on Bruges docks. We brought down six enemy machines- One British machine is missing. Our night flyers dropped fourteen tons at night-time on the Dowmareoing and Oiaulnes railway stations, the Bruge's docks, and JJapanme and Peronne- One British machine did not return.—Aus.X.Z.
