The Admiralty reports that between the 6th and 11th May aircraft from Dunkirk successfully bombed the docks and seaplane base at Ostend, also the Zee-brugge mole, lock-gates, and shipping. Several direct hits were secured on shodg and om Zee&rsgge molt. A large shed at Ostend was completely burnedWa destroyed six machines and drove two others down during the patrol. One British machine is missing. A seaplane on Friday, over the North Sea, engaged a Zeppelin, which retreated after half an hour. Sir Douglas Haig's aviation report states that flying was impossible on Sunday until the evening, when visibility was excellent- We dropped eight tons In the neighborhood of Menin, Armentieres, and La Bttssee, also on Bruges docks. We brought down six enemy machines- One British machine is missing. Our night flyers dropped fourteen tons at night-time on the Dowmareoing and Oiaulnes railway stations, the Bruge's docks, and JJapanme and Peronne- One British machine did not return.—Aus.X.Z.
