THE C2 MEN.
' PROGRESS OF RE-EXAMINATION (From Our Own Correspondent). Wellington, May 10. A few of the- First Division <?2 men have not yet received the official notices informing ihein whether or not they are required to undergo re-examinatiou, but the number is not large. Of the First Division men drawn in the ballots about 3j,00() were classed C2 at the original examinations; 21,000 of these men have since been notified that they will not be required for re-examination. This leaves a balance of 14,000, of whom rather more than 13,000 have been set down for re-examination. Many of them have already been before the C2 Medical Board, which, lias been travelling the country for months past. The number of C2 First Division ballotted reservists still to be notified of the decision reached in their cases is in the neighbourhood of 1000. 02 men who have not received notices and who wish to ascertain their position may make application direct to the Director of Recruiting, Wellington. They will then receive replies as quickly as possible.
