SECOND DIVISION CLASSIFICATION.
CLASS C. A BIG SECTION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Wellington, May 0 The Government Statistician has sent to each enrolled reservist of Class C, Second Division, a postcard inviting correction or verification of the classification. Class C, which consists of married men with 2 children, is likely to enter the ballot next month, and the men concerned will save themselves trouble if they make sure now that they are correctly classified. The classification of a Second Division reservists depends upon the number of his children at the date of the issue of the Gazette summoning him for service. The birth of an additional child after the issue of the Gazette does not affect the classification. This is a point that is often raised by reservists. The remainder of the Class B men will be called up by Gazette on May 21. Class C, which will have to provide the next lot of recruits, contains about 27,SOO men. It is the biggest class in the division. Class D (three children) has about 19,800 men, Class E (four children) about 12,000 men and Class F (five children and over) about 14,000 men.
