GERMAN SPY ARRESTED. London, May 9. A German submarine recently landed a spy on the Irish coast. The spy has been arrested. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc. THE REPORT CONFIRMED. Received May 10, 8.30 p.m. Lopdon, May 9. In the House of Commons, Mr. J. I. Mivcpherson (Parliamentary Secretary to the War Office) confirmed the report that a man who was recently put ashore from a German submarine on the Irish coast had been arrested and lodged in the Tower, and will be court-martialled. HOME RULE AND CONISCRIPTIOX. Mr, Bonar law also stated that the Home- Rule Bill would not be introduced before WhltßuntkVf. The House of Commons would adjourn on the lfitli until the 2®th. Conscription would not lis formally applied to Ireland before the Bill was introduced.—-Press Assoc.
