DEATH EROM MOTOR COLLISION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Plalmerston North, May 10. Frederick Ca.pp, who was injured in a motor collision at Ivairanga last Friday, 'died in Pttlmerstoa Hospital this evening. ACCIDENT AT INGLEWOOD. An old resident of Inglewood, Mr. J. Welham, met with a serious accident yesterda* afternoon, having his left arm so seriously injured that it wa» tound necessary to amputate it. It appears that at afbout 2 30 p.m. ho was unloading some cases in the Inglewood goods shed, and, in walking across the shed, tripped and fell from the platform on to the railway track, right in front of a moving truck, which had been shunted off the train, and ran over his arm, almost severing tho limb. Mr. C. E. Seaibright, stationmaster, at once telephoned for Dr. Whitton and delayed the train wfi-ile first aid was rendered, the sufferer being at once brought into New Plymouth bv the train and conveyed to the hospital.
