ENGINE FALLS OVER BRIDGE. By Telegraph—lYess Association. Taumarvmui, May 4. Charles Anderson had a narrow escape from death at Raurimu on Thursday. He was driving a sawmill locomotive, hauling lons over a bridge, when the front wheels left the rails and the engine and driver fell into a golly eighty feet below. Anderson, though badly scalded and bruised, crawled up the gully and when found was taken to the Taumarunui hospital.
