ON THE SEA.
A PROHIBITED AREA. TO COMBAT SUBMARINES. London, May 1. The Admiralty reports that, owing to Germany's unrestricted and ruthless mine and submarine warfare against all shipping, Britain notifies the establishment from May 15 of a prohibited area in the North Sea, within latitudes 59 to 60, longitudes 0.50 west to 4.56 east, thence along the western limits of Norwegian territorial waters.
