A message from Amsterdam says that the declarations of prominent members of the Progressive People's Party that the Reichstag resolution of July, 1917, regarding "no annexations and no indemnities" no longer has any force, is confirmed by the Centre Party reserved a free hand in the west. The Tages Zcitung says that the July resolution was merely a tactical means of securing peace in ,the east, and it was now set aside. The aim now is to gain a victorious peace by force of arms, in the west.
