THE FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY OF N Z., LTD. WEEKLY REPORT. At Okaiawa on Monday, 22nd inst., we held our usual fortnightly sale. There was a fair yarding of cattle, and tho prices were the same as late sales. We quote:—Fat and forward cows,- £ll to £l3 3s; store, £7 to £lO, boners, £3 10s to £6 15s; in calf heifers, £{s 17s €d to £l7 15s; calves. 30s to £2 As; store lambs, 12s 9d to 14s Id; dairy cows, £S» 10s to £lO. At Eltham on Wednesday there was a good yarding of cattle, etc. Competition was good, and almost everything was sold under the hammer. F.at cows, £l2 to £l3 15s; fresh-conditioned cows, £lO 10s to £ll las; forward and store cows, £7 to £10; boners, £3 10s to £6; Hulls, £lO to £l4 17s 6d; weaners, 3'2s Od to £2 103; fat sheep, 30s to 375; lambs, 9s to lis 9d; weaner pigs, 10s to 14s. At Hawera on Friday cattle and sheep were yaTded in smaller numbers than usual.- Bidding for sheep was dull, but forward and fat. cows sold under keen competition. Weaners also were dull of sale. Fat cows, £l2 to £l2 17s; freshconditioned cows, £lO to £ll 12s 6d ; forward cows, £9 to £9 17s 6d; store cows, £7 5s to £8 17s; boners, £3 to £8 12s; bulla, £ll loa; weaner calves, 30s to £2 ss; fat and forward sheep, 26s 6d to 375; store lambs, 10s 9d to 14s fid; aged ewes, 12s 9d. At Kaponga on Friday there was an average yarding of stock. Prices were the same as late rates. Fat and forward cows, £lO 10s to £l2 Is; store cows, £7 to £9 ss; boners, £3 10s to £6 15s; bulls, £6 1/9 to £8 10s; weaners, £1 10s to £3 10a.
