OFFENSIVE DELAYED, BY ADVERSE WEATHER. Received May 1, 5.5 p.m. Washington, April 30. Official messages from Rome state that adverse weather has delayed the threatened Austrian offensive against Italy. The roads in the Trentino are impassable owing to heavy snow, and the Piave and other rivers are flooded.
