AUSTRIAN DESTROYERS ENGAGED. i A LONG CHASE. DURAZZO BOMBED. I ■ London, April' 2i. The Admiralty reports: Two of our destroyers on April 22 encountered and engaged five Austrian destroyers ill the Adriatic. The enemy tied to the sheltei of the fortified port at Durazzo, pursued by our destroyers, which, were reinforced by five more British and one French destroyer. The chase was continued until after midnight, when we lost touch with . the enemy.. Our casualties were seven killed and nineteen wounded. It i 3 unknown what damage was inflicted on the enemy. . British air forces on April 23 dropped a ton of bombs, with good, results, on the seaplane base at Dura,zzo. Wireless Austrian official: On , the night of the 22nd April our destroyers advanced in . the Otranto Straits and seriously damaged an enemy destroyer in a engagement with light forces.
