A prominent American, just returned from l'ctrogrnd, says: "We left because the conditions are intolerable. Murdei and robbery are rife, and many of tlu wealthier class are openly urging Germany to come and establish order. There is a tremendous labor upheaval through out Russia, 'the worker.) are demanding the maximum wage for the minimum work. The Reds and Whites, who have been continuously fighting in Finland, declared a truce ol' seven hours to allow us through their lines."
