It expresses gratification at India'* loyalty and determination to prosecute the war to the fttll limits of ita resources in conjunction with the ither part* of the Empire, and rejoiees at tIW fulUt utilisation Of India's manpower, Which will be the Conference'# first care. The message adds: "The po •ition in the east is menaced by disturb ance* in Asia, instigated by enemy opera tion*. the armies of Egypt, Palestin* and Ifesopstania, which are of everincreasing importance, should be largely sustained from India."

AMERICAN RESOLVES.
Received April 20, 5.5 p.m. London, April 23. The American minion was tendered a lnnihton at Whitehall. 14r. James Wilson, spokesman for the Labor section of the mission, declared that the American Labor movement weald never agree to peace until Prustian militarism withdrew within its own boundaries, and then not until Germany rcogntted the right of civilised nation* to *V •determination.
