WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A storm area has developed with considerable intensity in the south, causing high north-west winds and, except in the east coast districts, much rain has fallen since Sunday evening. Present indications are for cold, stormy weather, with heavy showers generally, and snow on the higher levels of the south. High westerly winds are likely, changing to southerlies, with increasing atmospheric pressure everywhere soon.
