DECREASED RETURN'S. The receipts from the New Plymouth tramways for last week are the lowest for some time past. Sundays returns arc the lowest on record for any day, the receipts being £0 13s Id. Compared with the corresponding week of last year, the returns show a. decline, though it should he stated that on the Monday included in last year's figures there was very heavy traffic to the breakwatei, over 7000 passengers being carried on that day.
